Lana Del Rey has said yes to heaven with Jeremey Dufrene.
After tying the knot in a private ceremony held in Jeremy’s native state of Louisiana Sept. 26, the “Young and Beautiful” singer just provided an update on how they’re faring as newlyweds.
“Jeremy is the one and only,” she commented on a fan account post Oct. 2. “And amazing. And we’re very happy.”
The comment marks the first time the 39-year-old has publicly commented on her new husband, after having sparked romance rumors in August when the pair were seen showing some PDA at the U.K.’s Reading Festival. Fast-forward nearly two months later, she and Jeremy—who works as a wildlife tour guide—obtained a marriage license on Sept. 23.
But the truth is, the Grammy nominee has known Jeremy for years. In fact, Lana first shared a series of photos with him back in 2019 on one of his tours, which she captioned, “Jeremy lemme be captain at Arthur’s Air Boat Tours x.”
And while Lana (born Elizabeth Grant) had told Harper’s Bazaar in Dec. 2023 that she was “definitely not in love,” Jeremy reappeared on her social media in May 2024, at which time she referred to him as “my guy” in her caption.
For their big day, Jeremy and Lana held their ceremony at Jeremy’s place of employment—the docks of Arthur’s Air Boat Tours.
For her part, Lana wore a custom gown designed by Mayce Wysner which featured white lace and fluttering sleeves. She wore her hair in a side ponytail that was tied with a pastel blue ribbon, acting as her “something blue.”
Meanwhile Jeremy kept things simple but classic in a dark gray suit, white button-down and brown shoes.
In the days since their nuptials, the newlyweds have kept a low profile, however they did enjoy an evening on the docks on Sept. 29 after enjoying a romantic dinner in town. While sitting with their backs against the wall of a boathouse, Lana sweetly kissed Jeremy on the arm and took selfies of the pair on her phone.
And, in a particularly precious moment, she took a moment to admire her new wedding ring.
So just who is Jeremy? While the lover of the outdoors doesn’t have much of a presence online, his biography on Arthur’s Airboat Tours website details his transition from a chemical plant worker to bayou tour guide.
"After a little convincing by his family, he got his captain's license and started running tours," his bio reads. "He quickly realized that this was a great fit and he has never thought of going back to his previous career at the plant. Jeremy's a great airboat captain and loves interacting with wildlife and customers."
