Jack Antonoff’s tiniest move made Margaret Qualley’s whole world shake.

“What a great husband,” Margaret gushed of her partner of three years to Jimmy Fallon on the Sept. 24 episode of The Tonight Show. “I can’t golf. He lied for the sake of the family.”
After Margaret—who officially tied the knot with Jack in 2023—had told her agents she’d do “anything it takes” to get a part in the upcoming golf sequel, Adam reached out to Jack to screen Margaret’s golfing abilities over text.
And while the Maid star’s skills were far from up to par, her husband told the comedian that when it comes to the sport, “She’s actually good!”
Satisfied with the answer, Adam told Jack, “Might bug her for a couple days, funny thing. She’d be awesome.”
The 29-year-old emphasized that the Bleachers musician did her a huge favor, given her affection for the Billy Madison star.
“He is my first crush,” she effused, adding that the original Happy Gilmore, released in 1996, is her “favorite movie.”
Despite her inability to swing a club, Margaret—who will join Travis Kelce and more in the sequel—assured the experience was still a dream come true.
“It was the best thing that ever happened to me,” she added. “It’s a tiny part. I’m essentially deep background but I can die happy now.”
And she noted of Adam, “Like everyone, I think he’s the greatest of all time.”
Although Margaret had childhood affections for the comedian—who shares daughters Sadie, 18, and Sunny, 15, with wife Jackie Sandler—she now only has eyes for Jack.
“I am so happy that I found my person,” Margaret told Harper’s Bazaar last year. “It’s real. It’s amazing. It’s the best feeling in the world. I’m so excited and so at ease all at once.”

On March 13, 2022, Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff celebrated the 2022 Critics' Choice Awards together, marking their first joint celebrity event. The 27-year-old actress was nominated for Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for her role in Maid, though Kate Winslet took the trophy for Mare of Easttown.
The duo turned the award show into their "date night," as Margaret wrote on Instagram.
Jack had his arm draped around her shoulders during the event, which took place at the Fairmont Century Plaza.
Two days prior, the couple also hit the town when they attended the AFI Awards Luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire hotel.

The two had first sparked romance rumors in August 2021 when they were spotted showing PDA during a walk in New York City.
